Michael DuBeau
Michael has extensive experience with the legal issues affecting business owners, individuals and families. He provides counsel in the areas of estate planning, estate administration, business formation, business succession planning, corporate governance, contract preparation and review, and general real estate matters. Michael is a participating lawyer with the ARAG legal plan which provides pre-paid legal services for companies as Microsoft and Wells Fargo.
Michael is a local product, growing up in the Lake Stevens, Washington area. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts from Western Washington University in 1980 and achieved his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Washington School of Law in 1984.
Throughout that time, Michael worked as a commercial salmon fisherman in the summers to finance his undergraduate and law school education. After taking a year off after law school to work in and explore the wilds of Alaska one last time, he was admitted to the Washington State Bar in January of 1986.
Michael is also a published author. His first novel, Poole's Gold, was published in 2014. He has a second novel in the works, with hopes to publish in the near future.
